Gwent Residents Invited to Help Shape Future of Local Hospital Services

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is inviting the public to take part in an eight-week engagement exercise to help shape the future of services at its Enhanced Local General Hospitals — including Nevill Hall Hospital, Royal Gwent Hospital and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr.

The Health Board is reviewing how services are delivered at these sites to ensure they provide the best possible care, in the right place, at the right time — supporting both the specialist care at The Grange University Hospital and services in local communities.

The Health Board wants to hear views from patients, families, carers, staff, voluntary groups and members of the public on the proposals — including the future development of Nevill Hall Hospital as a hub for planned care and cancer services.

The engagement period runs until Friday 15 August 2025, and feedback will help shape final decisions and inform future investment plans.
